Glaucoma

Sharks, Spiders, Snakes
What's your biggest fear?
Mine is the fear of change
Unable to control, unable to steer.
What if one day everything is different?
And what was valued in the past,
everyone forgets it....
What if you wake up and don't where who you are.
Don't remember how you got here,
how you got so far.
Don't remember how you turned into,
the person that you are.
Don't remember how you were wounded,
marked with all these scars.

Wake up in a new world,
with new responsibilities.
Got things to do got bills to pay,
House, car, and utilities.

We tend to wish our life away,
Now is never enough.
Making ourselves slaves of the future,
Unable to break the cuffs.
We move so fast and consume so little,
that our lives become a blur.
Warped and distorted,
a fuzzy vision of the world.
All we know is now and don't remember whats in our past.
So focused on the destination,
we forget to enjoy the path.
Sometimes we need to breathe,
slow down and think
because life is here today
but can be taken in a flash.
